Fake company information that seems accurate is increasing online. How can you distinguish between credible information versus “fake ones?” Inaccurate information is constantly being shared on social networks and amplified by a growing number of explicitly partisan news outlets. Thousands of people circulate this false information unknowingly. Why? This creates a viral storm without substance which affects the company’s reputation, credibility and trust to your clients and customers. It can provoke serious consequences.

Scams are designed to trick you into giving them your company/personal information. They may try to steal your company/individual personal information. If they manage to get that information, they could gain access to your company/ individual email, bank, or other accounts.

This 1-day workshop will examine both accurate and inaccurate news/stories/information and the factors that lead people to believe in fake ones. It also allows you to recognize and avoid scams via phishing emails/voice phishing from your company/individual emails.

The learners will also gain skills to help them to distinguish fact from fiction and to recognize and avoid scams via phishing emails and voice phishing.
